The Cardinal Health MicroLoop is a pocket sized spirometer that is commonly used in the area of respiratory therapy practices. This advanced device makes use of a bidirectional digital volume transducer which accounts for its accuracy in the flow and volume measurements done to COPD and asthma patients. This particular hardware component features a touchscreen interface that allows the user to conveniently access all built-in functions. It may also be deployed with a corresponding docking station which can easily connect to an external printing device or an entire computer system. Since this particular hardware component makes use of a specialized technology its corresponding device driver must be completely installed into the host computer system prior to being used. When successfully accompanied by the correct device driver connecting it to a host computer system will immediately display the data for the assigned patient. The data is only accessible via the accompanying software application.
